Mark
Purney of Mesa Piano Service is an engineer, pianist, and Registered Piano
Technician. Mark learned Piano Technology as a student
of Jim
Coleman Sr., and is an active member of the Piano
Technicians Guild. At age 4, he began studying classical piano with Lillian Husak at the Cleveland Institute of Music. He competed in his first concerto competition at 12 years old, and performed with an orchestra. He is currently working on new piano recordings. In 1992, Mark Purney received a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Cleveland State University, and is president of Raktron, Inc. Mark is also involved in the audio/visual and music programs at Grace Church in Mesa, AZ, pastored by concert pianist, Sam Rotman. |
